Redlands Bowl’s ‘Little Mermaid’ auditions rescheduled due to coronavirus
Because of the coronavirus pandemic and resulting directives by state and local governments, audition dates for the Redlands Bowl Summer Music Festival production of Disney’s “The Little Mermaid” have been changed.
The auditions, originally scheduled for April 4 and 11, have been rescheduled for 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. May 16 and 23. The auditions have also been moved from First Congregational Church of Redlands to LifeHouse Theater, 1135 N. Church St., Redlands, according to a press release.
The May 16 auditions are for those auditioning for principal or choral roles. The May 23 auditions are for those who are called back and those unable to audition May 16. Appointments are needed for the May 23 auditions but not for the May 16 auditions.
“The public health situation is fluid at present, so the dates announced may be subject to change,” Wayne Scott, producer and director of the production, said in the press release. “If any schedule changes occur, they will be widely publicized.”
