After Hitting Bengal, Odisha, Cyclone Amphan Weakens To A Deep Depression
NEW DELHI: Super Cyclonic Storm ‘AMPHAN’ crossed West Bengal coast last evening and gradually weakened into a deep depression over Bangladesh.

MeT Department said it is very likely to continue to move north-northeastwards and weaken further into a depression during the next three hours and into a well-marked low-pressure area during the following 12 hours.
Kolkata reported 130 kilometres per hour maximum sustained wind speed yesterday.
In Assam, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh, light to moderate rainfall may occur at most places with heavy to extremely heavy falls at isolated places today.
