Nvidia Shield TV just $129 with a great Black Friday discount

The Nvidia Shield TV is one of the most powerful streaming boxes around. Now there's a great deal on it in the US, as part of the Black Friday sales.

The Android-powered Shield TV device is capable of streaming 4K HDR content, with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos support. It has all the streaming apps you could hope for, plus access to many games and Nvidia's own GeForce Now cloud gaming service.

Among the streaming apps available for the Shield TV are Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, YouTube and, of course, Google's own Play Movies store for 4K content.

An exclusive feature of the device is that it can upscale standard content on YouTube and Netflix, etc, to look more crisp and have better contrast.

It is also Google Assistant-enabled, which means you can use the controller to control your smart home by voice. And there are many things you can ask for which show on your TV, such as weather reports, sports results and much more.

Considering it's built around the same architecture as the Nintendo Switch, you can't go far wrong with adding an Nvidia Shield TV to your home entertainment setup.

Sadly, we haven't yet found a similar deal on the Nvidia Shield TV in the UK or elsewhere, but will update as and when any Black Friday bargains appear elsewhere.
