Far Cry 6 Player Spots Far Cry 4 Easter Egg

Despite releasing just days ago, players have already uncovered a number of hidden secrets within Far Cry 6. For a game as expansive and detailed in terms of its open world, it makes sense for Far Cry 6 to have numerous cosmetic details that allude to material outside of the main narrative. One such detail actually references Far Cry 4 in a very direct way.

While Far Cry 4 possesses many memorable characteristics, several players have pointed to Pagan Min as one of the highlights of the game. As with nearly every Far Cry antagonist, Pagan Min commands an intimidating, on-screen presence, which makes for an incredibly compelling character. Although, Pagan Min's presence can also be felt to a certain extent within the world of Far Cry 6, as well.

A Reddit user named billpecota encountered a poster that advertises an interview with Pagan Min. According to the flyer, the interview covers Pagan Min's dominion of Kyrat and how he made a profit over the cacao found in that region of the world. In a way, it makes sense to have Pagan Min publicly featured in this way within Far Cry 6, given the similarities between Pagan Min and Anton Castillo.

It's amazing how much this one little poster does to collectively tie the Far Cry universe together. Despite each game featuring a new protagonist pitted against a new antagonist in a new setting, there tend to be reoccurring iconography or characters featured within each Far Cry installment. Characters like Willis Huntley and Hurk, while not featured in Far Cry 6, serve as a way to bridge the gap between games.

However, the fact that Far Cry 6 released five days ago and players have already found a significant number of Easter Eggs is quite impressive. Though, some secrets hold more personal sentiment than others. For example, recently, a Far Cry 6 dev shared a touching tribute to his cat featured in-game via graffiti murals scattered throughout the world of Yara.

It will be interesting to see what the future holds for Far Cry 6 moving forward. There will eventually be Far Cry 6 DLC that features previous villains that will release sometime in the coming months. The official release dates have yet to be unveiled, but it will definitely provide players with a unique opportunity to not only play from a unique perspective, but also might supply players with exciting new game mechanics not seen in previous Far Cry games.

Far Cry 6 is available now on Amazon Luna, PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
