KUWTK: Pete Jokes About Kim Kardashian Romance In SNL Cold Open

Pete Davidson joked about his relationship with former Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Kim Kardashian during the Saturday Night Live cold open. The comedian and the reality star began their relationship after working together during Kim's episode of the variety series. Kim hosted SNL back in early October and struck up quite the friendship with Pete. A couple of weeks after the show, Kim and Pete went to an amusement park in Los Angeles, which sparked romance rumors between the pair.
While reps for both of them insisted they were only friends, their relationship quickly turned romantic after their amusement park outing. Kim and Pete were spotted in Staten Island, dining at one of his favorite Italian restaurants, Campania. Since their dinner date, Kim and Pete have been flying between L.A. and New York City to see each other. It seems their romance is a lot more serious than everyone thought.
KUWTK: Pete Davidson Said He ‘Expected’ Kanye West To Diss Him
During the cold open of this week's new episode of SNL, Pete, who will not host the 2022 Oscars, referenced his new relationship with the 41-year-old, and how he’s having "more fun" now (via Page Six). The skit began with SNL cast member James Austin Johnson, holding a press conference as President Joe Biden. A futuristic Pete then suddenly appears, claiming to be the "real" Biden, explaining that he was in an alternate universe, "created as a joke starting in 2016." Pete's character jokingly asked, "Did you really think you would lose four times and then finally win when you were 78?" He then added, "Everyone is better off in the ‘real world’ except for one man: Pete Davidson. His world is maybe more fun for him." The joke was clearly a reference to Pete's budding romance with Kim, who was dissed in the new Kanye track, with whom he has been spotted out with several times in the last three months.

Pete's not very subtle joke could be his way of responding to Kanye West's new diss track about him called "My Life Was Never Eazy" with The Game. Last week, Kanye leaked the song threatening to beat the comedian. The lyric goes, "God saved me from that crash / Just so I can beat Pete Davidson’s ass." The rapper was referencing his 2002 near-fatal car crash, while also taking a dig at his ex-wife's new boyfriend. However, Pete isn't too surprised by the diss and actually saw it coming. Pete knew Kanye would reference him in one of his songs sooner or later and is trying to laugh it off. He respects Kanye, who allegedly attacked a fan, as the father of Kim's children and would never try to get in the way of their family.
Pete is having the time of his life now that he is dating the Keeping Up With The Kardashians alum. Kim and Pete have been inseparable over the past three months, and they are showing no signs of slowing down.
