Marvel's Supreme Octopus Is Otto Octavius' Worst Nightmare

In his quest to prove he's the most superior version of Doctor Octopus in the Multiverse, the villain is on the path to encounter his greatest nightmare, Octopus Supreme. In Devil's Reign: Superior Four #1 by Marvel Comics, Doc Ock assembles a crew of variants of himself from different Earths, as he hopes to build his own Council of Ocks. But, little does he know, a dangerous Doc Ock is waiting for his arrival.
In Marvel's Devil's Reign event, the Kingpin has put a crackdown on heroes and unleashed villains to take them out. After locking up Mr. Fantastic and Sue Storm, Wilson Fisk gave Doctor Octopus access to the Fantastic Four's technology in the Baxter Building. Inside, the longtime Spider-Man villain is using their tech to travel across the Multiverse and meet some of his own variants as he hopes to create an army of Doctor Octopus to control everything. While the plan is an initial success, the arrival of the Supreme Octopus teases future problems for Otto Octavius.
In Devil's Reign: Superior Four #1 by Zac Thompson, Davide Tinto, Matt Milla, and VC's Ariana Maher, Doctor Octopus brings three variants from different Earths to Earth-616 to help him in his mission. The variants include a Ghost-Rider Otto with chains for tentacles, a Wolverine Otto with blades for tentacles, and a Hulk Otto who grows extra arms in his back. After their mission goes awry, Doc Ock determines they can become superior by taking out other variants and effectively stealing their intellect. However, only one variant among the thousands Otto calculated could defeat them: Supreme Octopus - Ocatavius' greatest nightmare.
Supreme Octopus is introduced, watching over the destruction of Atlantis on Earth-7214. He feels the death of the Spider-Man Doc Ock variant and decides it's finally time to act against his 616-counterpart. Supreme Octopus claims to be superior, and the ending Dock Oc seeks. When Supreme Octopus reveals himself, he appears to be a cross of Doctor Doom, Doctor Strange, and Doctor Octopus.
Doctor Octopus's ego seems to severely discount the threat that faces him and the rest of the Superior Four. He's fully aware there's a single variant capable of knowing the power needed to defeat them - yet still, he claims the group has no equal. Supreme Octopus represents a nightmare scenario for him and will likely show Doctor Octopus just how wrong he is about no variant being superior to him.
