How to Move the Damage Number in MultiVersus | Screen Rant

Damage Numbers are displayed alongside each character in MultiVersus. Fortunately, the game offers so many different types of accessibility options, players can place this meter in other locations on the screen. MultiVersus is a brand-new free-to-play platform fighter with tons of iconic characters across Warner Brother properties. They are bringing together the likes of Batman, Shaggy, Steven Universe, and many more characters planned to be released with future updates. While the game is hosting its Closed Alpha, an Open Beta is planned for later this Summer.
In MultiVersus, the objective of the game is to knock your opponent off the screen. The more damage the player lands, the farther the enemy character will fly off the screen. Like in Super Smash Bros, these numbers are displayed on the screen at all times. Unlike Super Smash Brothers, these numbers are directly attached to each character and will follow them around the map. This does make it easier to see how much damage each character has without having to remove your eyes from the action, but their numbers can be moved within the game's options.
To move the Damage Number in MultiVersus, the player will need to head over to the setting tab. It's labeled by a gear icon on the left side of the main menu. Head over to the 'Interface' tab and there will be a ton of different options to choose from. There are three different presets from recommended, to legacy, to even being able to craft your own from scratch. Players are able to move the scoreboard position, damage position, cooldown position, and change the color of the outline of the characters on screen. Using the Legacy option will bring the UI to the bottom of the screen, reminiscent of the Super Smash Bros interface.

Since MultiVersus is a game meant to be played with a teammate, there are even options to change the color of the allies in this menu. Each change will be displayed on a demo screen above to show how the changes will play out in an actual game. Outside of interface changes, MultiVersus features a slew of different audio features. Players are able to enable subtitles to see the conversations playing out between two Warner Brothers characters.
There's also "Streamer Mode", which will disable all copyrighted music from the game, making it much easier for content creators to stream without fear. At the very bottom of this menu is the Mature Language option, allowing certain characters to say inappropriate words. Ask your parent's permission before turning this one on. Regardless, customize MultiVersus in a way that works best for your personal preferences.
MultiVersus is set to release sometime in 2022.
