90 Day Fiancé: Thaís & Patrick Slammed For Disrespectful Behavior
New 90 Day Fiancé stars Patrick Mendes and Thaís Ramone are facing backlash over a video posted by Thaís which shows the two creating a mess in a clean store aisle. Patrick and Thaís are among the many new couples featured on 90 Day Fiancé season 9, however, their storyline is not exactly a fan favorite. Patrick met Thaís while he was visiting his father in Brazil, and the two went to dinner and a club after matching on Tinder. The pair quickly became smitten with one another, and after eleven months together they became engaged.
When Thaís arrived in the United States to begin her new life with Patrick, she was immediately unhappy that they had to live with Patrick's older brother John. Thaís and John constantly had disagreements, such as Thaís becoming upset when John drank beer in the morning. 90 Day Fiancé star Thaís became even angrier with John when he suggested that Patrick have a bachelor party. Many viewers have also criticized Thaís' treatment towards Patrick, calling her ungrateful for complaining to Patrick about their house being too small.
It's not just the couple's on-screen behavior that irritates fans—their off-screen antics are called out as well. Thaís recently posted a video in her Instagram stories of Patrick and herself making quite a mess in a store, which received a large amount of backlash from a number of Reddit users. In the video, Patrick is seen throwing pillows all over a store aisle, with over a dozen pillows making a large pile, blocking the aisle. Thaís records the mess while giggling in the background, with Patrick also laughing and telling her to just go. Thaís put a caption on the video writing "Nobody knows that we went there." Reddit user theacidraindrops reposted the video and started a thread, asking, "I can't be the only one who is disgusted by this behavior right?"
Many other users were quick to agree in the comments, sharing their disapproval of Thaís and Patrick's behavior. "The fact that they not only did this... but posted it shows how completely unaware and tone deaf they are," user moodylilb said. Others pointed out things such as the fact that an employee not responsible for the mess would likely have to clean it up, which is both unfair and disrespectful. Several users also noted that Patrick walked all over the pillows with his shoes on while trying to climb over the mess, which many also found incredibly inconsiderate.
This is not the first time that the 90 Day Fiancé season 9 couple have faced heavy criticism online. Thaís has come under a lot of fire as many fans believe she is selfish and greedy, and possibly may only be with Patrick for his money. Several viewers have also called Patrick naïve, as doesn't seem to realize that no amount of money he spends on Thaís ever seems to be good enough for her. As 90 Day Fiancé season 9 comes to a close, fans will see how the couples story plays out. However, based off of their recent story together, it is fair to assume that Thaís and Patrick are still together and going strong.
