Interview With The Vampire Gets Season 2 Renewal Before Season 1 Premiere

Before it even premieres season 1 on October 2, AMC’s Interview with the Vampire has been renewed for season 2. Based on the gothic horror novel written by Anne Rice, the show will star Sam Reid as Lestat de Lioncourt as he turns Louis de Pointe du Lac, played by Jacob Anderson, into an undead creature of the night. Part of the ‘Immortal Universe’ a series of shows composed of the late Anne Rice’s novels which have been acquired by AMC, Interview with the Vampire will be told from the perspective of Louis as he navigates this new world, adopting young Claudia (Bailey Bass) who Lestat also turns, along the way.
