Bridgerton star Simone Ashley reveals that season 3 will show a whole other side to Kate as she steps into her new role as Viscountess. Inspired by Julia Quinn's beloved series of historical romance novels, Bridgerton became an immediate smash hit when it made its debut on Netflix back in 2020. The show introduced the Bridgertons, a well-to-do family living in Regency era London, with season 1 closely following the eldest Bridgerton daughter Daphne (Phoebe Dynevor) and her pursuits in finding a suitable husband.
