M3GAN Earns 5x Its Budget At The Box Office In Under 2 Weeks

M3GAN is turning in a huge result in its second weekend at the box office. The film, which debuted on January 6, is a collaboration between Blumhouse and James Wan's company Atomic Monster. It follows a young robotics engineer named Gemma (Allison Williams) who becomes the guardian for her recently orphaned niece Cady (Violet McGraw). In an effort to provide Cady with companionship, Gemma allows her to become the test subject for her newest product, an artificially intelligent android named M3GAN whose efforts to care for Cady turn murderous as a result of being rushed into production.
