MCU Theory Suggests Spider-Man 4 Could Be A Defenders Reboot

One theory suggests that the MCU's Spider-Man 4 could set up a reboot of The Defenders. After 2021's Spider-Man: No Way Home, Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige and Sony's Amy Pascal confirmed that further films featuring Peter Parker, a.k.a. Spider-Man, would be developed for the MCU, avoiding a similar fiasco to what occurred after Spider-Man: Far From Home, which left Spider-Man's MCU fate unclear. Tom Holland's iteration of Peter Parker is currently in a very strange place in the MCU, after he and Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) wiped everyone's memories of Parker at the end of the emotional Spider-Man: No Way Home.
