Strange New Worlds Finale Shows Una Inspires La’an To Be Number One

The alternate future of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds' season 1 finale shows La'an Noonien Singh (Christina Chong) promoted to Commander, a hint that Una Chin-Riley (Rebecca Romijn) inspires her to become Number One. Una was arrested at the end of Strange New Worlds season 1 after Starfleet learned she lied about being a genetically engineered Illyrian. Meanwhile, La'an was on leave from the USS Enterprise, but it's already known she returns in Strange New Worlds season 2.
