Superman Just Discovered The Best Superpower He Doesn't Have

Warning! Spoilers ahead for Infinite Frontier #3!

In Infinite Frontier #3, Kingdom Come's Magog showcases an ability that President Superman would hugely benefit from having. Superman is considered to be DC's greatest hero. Every version of the character is considerably more powerful than most other heroes. All iterations of the character have somewhat similar powers, but some showcase advancements in different areas. That being said, Superman doesn't have limitless abilities.

In this issue, the Justice Incarnate team continues its search for all the mystery fragments scattered across the Multiverse. President Superman and Flashpoint Batman splinter off from the rest of the team as they visit Earth-22. Fans will know Earth-22 as the world where Kingdom Come Superman comes from. As they arrive, President Superman and Flashpoint Batman are attacked by Magog, even though he has supposedly changed his villainous ways and reformed.

In Infinite Frontier #3 by Joshua Williamson, Xermanico, and Romulo Fajardo Jr., Magog is able to sense that Flashpoint Batman is a result of timeline changes. This is a shocking surprise as it's something that has never been seen before. But it makes sense given that the citizens of DC's universe are even aware of the Multiverse and its changes. However, Magog's sense takes it to a whole new level. Simply by being in the vicinity of someone like Flashpoint Batman, he can literally smell that he was made due to reality tampering. It's an incredible ability that Superman could certainly use.

Magog's power is a really great sense to have and one that both Superman and President Superman would love to have. Earth-0's Superman would benefit from having Magog's sense when facing off against the mischievous Mr. Mxzyptlk, or anyone with the power to warp reality. More importantly, President Superman would make great use of this sense due to his duty of protecting the Multiverse. Being able to sense any changes in reality would allow President Superman to be the ultimate version of himself as he could perform his role with extreme precision, in minimal time.

It's quite a novelty to find someone with a power that could make Superman aka DC's strongest hero even more powerful. Therefore, seeing Magog sense that Flashpoint Batman comes from another reality, President Superman will surely be wondering how useful such a superpower would be. With more and more people becoming aware of the universe's changes, DC's superheroes are going to have to work harder than ever to keep things in check. Another reality shift could be detrimental to DC's heroes as people's trust in them would dwindle even further. It's too bad Superman doesn't have the power to automatically sense these shifts and stop that from happening. Infinite Frontier #3 is available in comic book stores and on digital platforms now.
