Life After Lockup: Clues Reveal Shawn & Sara Possibly Married & Expecting Child
Life After Lockup fans are starting to put together clues indicating that Shawn and Sara could be possibly married and expecting a child together. Shawn introduced Sara in season 4 following his messy breakup with Destinie last season. Despite keeping a number of secrets from Sara, it looks like the couple is still going strong. They also might have taken things to the next level by tying the knot and expanding their family.
Sara has been a breath of fresh air for Shawn after he got dumped and publicly humiliated by Destinie before she was sent back to jail. Shawn met Sara and Destinie while they were serving time. After trying to pursue a relationship with Destinie and get married, she decided to leave him and take whatever she could get her hands on. Ultimately, Destinie was sent back to jail and Shawn was free to move on with someone he had been talking to the entire time he was with Destinie. Now that Sara is a free woman, Life After Lockup season 4 has followed Shawn moving to Ohio and pursuing a new relationship with Sara.
It looks like things are still going well for Shawn and Sara. Recent Ohio court documents obtained by Starcasm reveal that Shawn and Sara might've filed for a marriage license on July 20 and officially tied the knot on August 24. YouTube channel realiteasquad also dug into any signs of Shawn and Sara being married while filming season 4 (video included below), and they noticed Sara wearing a ring on her wedding ring finger during her and Shawn's confessional together. The curious fan also noticed that the mid-season trailer hinted at one couple taking a pregnancy test. Alas, it's not exactly revealed which couple it is. According to reports, however, Sara is pregnant and expecting her first child with Shawn.
If rumors are true, this would be the couple's first child together. However, it would be the second child for Sara (who already has a daughter) and the seventh for Shawn (who has six kids with his ex Kelly). Viewers have criticized Shawn for seemingly neglecting his family back home to try and pursue another family. Back when Shawn dated Destinie, he met with Kelly and told her how his relationship with Destinie was important to him. Kelly appeared frustrated with Shawn putting their children by the waist side for another woman. Now that Shawn is with Sara, he has expressed hope to be a step-father to her daughter despite having six kids of his own in another state.
In any case, Shawn and Sara are apparently doing well. They each were looking to turn a new chapter in life and it looks like they were able to do that together. Maybe Life After Lockup season 5 will follow Shawn and Sara as they figure out life as a married couple and parents of a newborn. They will also have to figure out how to combine their blended families if they have any plans to raise their other kids from previous relationships.
