Kanye West Follows Pete Davidson's New IG Account Amid Public Feud

Kanye West has followed Pete Davidson on his new Instagram account despite their public feud over The Kardashians star Kim Kardashian. The rapper began his crusade against the comedian shortly after he began a relationship with his soon-to-be ex-wife. Pete and Kim confirmed their relationship in November 2021, less than a month after the couple was spotted holding hands while at the amusement park Knott's Berry Farm in Los Angeles.
Shortly after their time at the amusement park date, Kim visited Pete in Staten Island, where they dined at his favorite Italian restaurant. Not only has the couple been hanging around New York and L.A. together, but they even went on vacation to The Bahamas after the holidays. So far, Kim and Pete are going strong, and clearly, their happy relationship is a trigger for Kanye.
Earlier this week, Pete created a new Instagram account that Kanye, who took down his Skete collage, immediately followed. Not only did Kanye follow Pete, but he also posted a screenshot of the 28-year-old's account Wednesday night and captioned it, "FOLLOWED." Similar to his posts from the past, the 44-year-old deleted the upload shortly after publishing it. However, unlike Kanye, Pete did not reciprocate the follow, nor did he make mention of Kanye hitting his follow button. As for who Pete did follow on the app, as of February 17, he is only following his girlfriend, Kim, and actor Sebastian Stan. Nonetheless, people are surprised Pete decided to join the social media app at this time, seeing as Kanye has been dragging him and his relationship with Kim online for the past week.

Over the weekend, Kanye continued to threaten and insult Pete on the platform over his relationship with the 41-year-old reality star. Kanye most recently called Pete a "d**khead" and now refers to the Saturday Night Live cast member as "Skete" instead of his real name. Ever since Kanye and Julia Fox broke up after less than two months together, the father of four has been on a mission to take Kim and Pete down. Pete initially left Instagram for good during the summer of 2018 following some severe mental health issues that were only exasperated by the social media app. "No there’s nothing wrong. No nothing happened. No there’s nothing cryptic about anything," Pete revealed at the time (via Page Six). "I just don’t wanna be on Instagram anymore. Or on any social media platform." He briefly joined again in December 2018 but deleted the account again shortly after.
It seems Kanye only followed Pete on Instagram as some kind of revenge for dating The Kardashians star. While it is unclear why Kanye continues his antics when Pete has not retaliated in any way. Hopefully, the two can come to some sort of truce for the sake of Kim and their children.
