How Neytiri’s Avatar 3 Story Can Address A Major Franchise Problem

Warning: Spoilers ahead for Avatar: The Way of Water.While Avatar: The Way of Water reaffirmed Jake Sully’s fighting prowess, Avatar 3 might force the character to face his greatest fear. Jake Sully is not a man of many words. The lead character of the Avatar franchise lives up to the title of the movie as he acts as an avatar to introduce viewers to the world of Pandora. This worked well in director James Cameron’s original 2009 movie Avatar since the ambitious sci-fi epic had a whole world and complicated lore to get viewers invested in. However, this same quality taxed the patience of some viewers watching Avatar: The Way of Water.
